My understanding is that a calzone is a stuffed pizza. What i mean by the is that the pizza base is wrapped around the filling, normally ham and cheese with the tomato paste base, and looks something like a very large cornish pastie. At least that is the best calzone I ever had from an italian restaruant called La Fontana in Wassenberg Germany run by a sicilian couple.&lt;br&gt;
